Mont du Lac Mountain Biking
Mountain bikers can enjoy a scenic getaway on our beautiful trail system featuring gorgeous views
of Jay Cook State Park and the St. Louis River valley! Thanks to a close partnership with
COGGS,
our local bike club, we are able to provide some of the finest mountain biking the area has to offer.
It was voted one of the top single-track trails in the twin ports area, by area riders.
Our Base Lodge offers a Full Service Pub and Grill, on- site rustic camping, plenty of parking,
trail maps, and much, much more! We look forward to seeing you on the trails at Mont du Lac. Thank You.
Cross Country Trail System
Length: 3.5 miles
Number of trails: 1, with multiple short cut and extension choices
Difficulty: Intermediate
Established: 1998
The single track traverses the whole property affording riders a chance to enjoy all
aspects of mountain biking. The trail features numerous creek crossings, old growth forests,
abundant wildlife, beautiful overlooks, great flow, challenging climbs and descents!
We are constantly working on the cross country trails to improve our rider's experience.
The trail is open daily from 10:00am to 7:00pm weather permitting.
Please call ahead for trail
conditions. $5 per day or $40 for a season pass. Make sure to check in and out in the Base Lodge
each time you come to enjoy the trail.
Our facility is a pay to participate facility.
Mountain Biking is $5.00 per day or $40 for the season.
This awesome single-track, cross-country trail is home to the Dirt Spanker Classic MTB Race
each summer and has something for all racers. Our host club COGGS does a wonderful job of running
this event. COGGS also holds a group ride every Tuesday night at 6:00pm throughout the summer for their members.
